Throughout the year, I devote myself to training, and competing for Canada, as well as volunteering as a coach for younger pentathletes. I am the Athlete Representative for Canadian Pentathlon, a member of the YES (Youth Education through Sport) initiative at the CSCC , and a presenter for the annual KidsCAN School Day. Finally, I am a member of the AthletesCAN Board of Directors. AthletesCAN is the representative body of Canadian National Team athletes.
By studying sport marketing I am able to serve Canadian sport. I believe Canada has the capacity to perform much better, not just in terms of medal count, but with regards to health and level of fitness. I fully intend to be a 'cog in the wheel' that brings that change, through coaching, administration work, and acting as a leader in areas where I can contribute best.
